Mirova Foundation unveils its new 2025-2030 roadmap with renewed and enhanced ambition for its philanthropic ecosystem. ‘Empower each individual to act and emancipate themselves to build their future’ is now the major objective that will guide the actions of our endowment fund around three priorities: Education and skills development, Employment, Access to essential resources.
After a first phase of launching and structuring the actions of our endowment fund since 2021, 2025 was an opportunity to take stock of the first years of existence of Mirova Foundation. In less than four years, we have set up more than 30 partnerships for an amount of nearly €8.1 million.
Our vision
In a changing world, marked by growing social, economic and environmental challenges, it is essential to empower each individual to act and emancipate themselves to build their own future.
For a fairer and more inclusive society that is also fully committed to the ecological transition, we are convinced that everyone must be able to fully develop their potential and have the opportunity to overcome factors that limit access to fundamental rights and resources.
A renewed roadmap around Venture Philanthropy and three areas of action
To pursue this ambition, the positioning of Mirova Foundation is evolving while strengthening its unique approach of Venture Philanthropy to support NGOs closely aligned with their needs, beyond structural and long-term financial support (more detail at the end of the article).
Empower each individual to act and emancipate themselves to build their future has been at the heart of our priorities from the beginning. This is now the major objective that will guide the actions of our endowment fund around three priorities:
- Education and skills development ;
- Employment ;
- Access to essential resources.
Mirova Foundation at the heart of Mirova’s mission
If Mirova Foundation exists and if its essential action with the NGOs is possible, it is primarily thanks to a strong value-sharing policy. In addition to the initial allocation of €3.9 million given at the creation of the endowment fund, Mirova continues its commitment to philanthropy with Mirova Foundation each year. In 2024, 1.12% of the company’s Net Banking Product (NBP) was allocated to the endowment fund through 0.5% of the annual share of NBP as part of the mission commitments undertaken by Mirova and thanks to impact mechanisms implemented on several funds (MET, IED, Women Leaders & Diversity). This commitment is a strong marker of our ambitious and daring philanthropic approach within the financial ecosystem, particularly among asset management companies.
As integral part of Mirova’s mission, Mirova Foundation contributes fully and transversally to the success of the mission’s pillars, by acting beyond the economic and financial sphere, and in complementarity with Mirova’s investment strategies.
It is thanks to the joint commitment of our Board, Mirova’s employees, and the Mirova Foundation team that our philanthropic action will continue with a renewed and strengthened ambition for the years to come with our beneficiary NGOs and our many partners in the ecosystem.
A consolidated and structuring support program for NGOs

Strengthening extra-financial support for funded NGOs:
